This homely restaurant is set in a lovely quiet square set back from the long Zattere walkway. They focus on local and seasonal produce at a reasonable price. Starters are traditional and include prosciutto crudo (cured ham) and other cold meats which can be accompanied by homemade pickled vegetables. Main courses include goose (legs) confit with berries, rosemary lamb, rabbit with pine nuts and wild fennel, all depending on the season.
First courses and pasta courses cost on average €10 each and the main courses cost €18.
12 noon until 2.30pm and from 7pm until 10.30pm.

How to get there:
From the vaporetto stop, San Basilio on Zattere, walk down calle del Vento (opposite to the vaporetto stop). Cross the small square, keeping to the left. Cross the second bridge on your left, where you will see the Church of San Sebastiano. Walk around the back of the church and just past the corner where their shop is located, you will find the restaurant. This takes about 5-6 minutes.
