Set in the elegant Ponga room of the historic Gran Caffè Quadri in St. Mark’s Square. The same chefs as prepare the food in the upstairs Michelin starred restaurant also prepare the food for this restaurant. The food constitutes very well executed Venetian and Italian classics.
You can have a tasting of 6 cicchetti for €16. These include the traditional pickled sardines and onions (sarde in soar) and also, meatballs in tomato sauce (polpette di carne al sugo). Starters include buffalo mozzarella and various cured meats and range from €16-18. Pasta dishes cost around €20 and mains on average, €28 and these include roast turbot and sliced veal.
